Vipassana
Insight meditation
Vipassana, insight meditation, is a
Buddhist meditation practice for awakening and liberation.
By being aware of the present moment, the
practice
of Vipassana gives us understanding and
acceptance of our nature and the nature of all things, for development of
wisdom and compassion to ourselves and others.
The practice is done by walking and by
sitting while being aware of every sensation that is going through the body and
mind and consciously naming it.
In these classes you will be given clear
instructions for the practise. Together we will discuss this method and our
experiences.
The teacher:
Moran Cohen has practiced meditation for
many years. She was travelling around the world looking for wisdom and practiced
a long time Vipassana in a monastery in Thailand. She is a member of ‘Tovana’.
