Egged's monopoly on public transportation in Jerusalem will finally come to end, with the approval of nine new service taxi lines in Jerusalem. Minivan taxi routes around Jerusalem, similar to the ones operating in Tel Aviv, are expected to begin at the end of 2018. Learn more

A few significant legal developments from the past week: Israelis are no longer allowed to use their Israeli license to drive abroadkids will have another 10 days of school during holiday vacations starting this Pesach; proposed new benefits for army reservists; and the supermarket law passed.

The shekel-dollar rate is now at NIS 3.44. That's good for some businesses, but bad for a lot of olim.

Keren Malki is one of Israel's superstar non-profits, enabling home care for children with special needs. Tomorrow night is their annual Rainbow of Music fundraiser concert in Raanana. If you can make time for a great event to support a great cause, we recommend it.

And finally. this week, our Free Stuff in Jerusalem FB group crossed 1000 members AND I used it to grab a great computer monitor for Janglo's office. Have you joined yet?
