Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat hosted 33 city leaders from around the world at a special conference at the Jerusalem City Council in order to create cooperation between the cities.

The mayors heard a comprehensive survey of Jerusalem and the positive trends in it and the areas in which there is potential for cooperation and mutual learning between the cities.

Barkat took the town hall to a tour of the City of David, "to feel and see our historical roots, where it all began," Barkat noted.
