We're back from a short vacation. Here's a roundup of things you should know:

If you haven't paid Israeli taxes, a new Voluntary Tax Disclosure Program gives you a chance to come clean. Here's a list of great accountants to help you get started.

The new US Tax reforms may increase child tax credits for expats in Israel.

Changes in public transportation are starting. Beginning in March, commuters on Israeli buses will have to charge their Rav-Kav transit cards before entering a bus. Learn more

Our second professional critique of reader-submitted photos by Judah S. Harris has been published. Check it out, and find out how you can submit photos for the next column. And let us know what you think.

Event highlights this week include: NBN's basketball talk Alley-Oop to Aliyah (now FREE); Valentine's Day Wednesday; Rosh Chodesh AdarThursday and Friday; and the Shaon Horef music festival Monday at Jaffa Gate. And don't forget that Israel's Family Day is Thursday, Feb 15. You can find many more great events in our event calendar and listings.

If we're entering Adar, that means Purim is coming!
