My name is Ephraim and I am an new immigrant from Paris. I have been teaching French for more than 10 years in very different contexts, cultures and countries. I have a Master degree in Teaching French as a foreign language from one of the best University in France. I was also invited as a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley by the Berkeley Language Center.
I taught French in different institutions. Since I moved to Israel, I work at the Institut Français de Jérusalem. Before arriving to Israel, I was working at the Alliance Française de Paris, and I also taught French in Korea at the Hankuk University of Foreign Languages in South Korea.
For me, teaching languages isn't just my job, it is a life passion. I learned so far 5 languages, and I don't have any intention to stop here! The various experiences I had as a teacher but also as a learner give me a very specific and precise expertise in the field of language teaching.
My approach in teaching is very eclectic, which means that I don't believe that there is a magic method that works for everyone. Every one has his own way of learning and assimilates a language. So in my everyday practice, I use different methods adapted to the need and the specificity of every student.
Learning a language has to be something fun to do, that is why I use a wide range of exercises based on videos, songs, games..
Anyway, thousands of words won't be sufficient! The best is that you come to try!
