As a Storage Sales Specialist, you will make your mark by seek out new opportunities, expand and enhance existing opportunities in a goal to build a comprehensive pipeline. The work of the storage sales specialist will be hand in hand with the account team, working together to drive and win the opportunities. You will need to establish a long term professional consultative relationship with the clients (up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts), by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry. You will be required to lead storage value deals top to bottom including funnel creation, understanding customer needs and how portfolio fits, understand and deal with competitive landscape, build a proposal, present to the customer and lead the negotiations to a successful closure.


You will be responsible for driving HPE storage technology and its ecosystem. HPE storage technologies are of the best in the industry and covers many technologies, some as:

  • HPE best in class 3PAR and Nimble storage systems
  • HPE Infosight  - AI for the Data Center
  • HPE scality – Leading in the Object storage arena
  • HPE leading Hyperconverged platform – Simplivity
  • Backup & Recovery ecosystem from HPE StoreOnce Systems to the partnerships of HPE with backup OEM technologies: Veeam, Commvault, New and agile Cohesity.


Key Skills to be successful in the role

  • Passion for sales and technology, a positive attitude and being a team player is essential. 
  • Wide technology knowledge, broad understanding of IT architecture and components – specifically in storage technologies. 
  • Ability to think strategically and interface with all levels of management and technical peers. 
  • Client/customer relationship: maintaining excellent communications with customer management and technical teams. Bridging the two to maximize the revenue. 
  • Develops and maintains wide knowledge of current and emerging technologies and trends in the storage & data management world.
  • Articulates the relative strengths and weaknesses of the solution portfolio, relative to industry competitors, speaking not only to HPE’s strengths but also to the specifics of detailed differentiations over competitor’s offerings from a technology and business perspective. 
  • Ability to engages proactively with the customer to influence their decision making process within the storage area.


About you

  • You have a University Bachelor's degree in economic and business management, computer science or engineering.
  • You have extensive selling experience within the midmarket and or commercial / public sector in Israel.
  • You have 5+ years’ experience in Infrastructure sales: servers data Center, Virtualization, software defined data center, storage, backup, object storage.
  • You have experience and knowledge in value-selling proposition for datacenter and IT environment
  • You have experience in consultative services content and systems integration business – Advantage.
  • You have extensive experience with C-level interaction.
