Personal Assistant (English Language) Tel Aviv 

Independent Contractor, Part-Time, Immediate Start 

Ideal for retiree, oleh/olah or young parent 

 

 

Busy Tel-Aviv based international nonprofit executive requires a P/T personal assistant for a variety of personal and work-related projects and tasks. This is a part-time hourly contracting opportunity with possibility of long-term/permanent F/T work, depending on performance and need. Work remotely (from home or the location of your choice) with set hours of availability, with bi-weekly in-person coordination meetings at executive’s home office in the Old North section of Tel Aviv. 

 

Moderate starting pay subject to increase commensurate with skill, ability and performance. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

Working closely with the executive, you will: 
•Coordinate home office systems 

•Manage personal finances and bill-payment 

•Coordinate administrative aspects of care for elderly relative 

•Assist with technology needs (iphone, ipad etc.) 

•Manage online personal calendar, including personal appointments and other events 

•Manage personal contacts 

•Maintain mileage and other reward program membership 

•Sift through and file a variety of documents, bills, medical reports and other personal business items in English and Hebrew 

•Manage mileage and other reward program membership 

•Prepare routine correspondence (English) 

•Coordinate (and identify where needed) vendors, service providers, etc. 

•Coordinate rental and cleaning of rental apartment 

 

Essential skills & qualities: 
•Native written and spoken English 

•Basic Hebrew reading, writing and conversation  

•Positive disposition and can-do attitude a must 

•Ability to work independently and make decisions efficiently 

•Extremely detail-orientated and highly organized  

•Outstanding organizational skills with a particular emphasis on follow-through, especially with regard to multiple deadlines and re-prioritizing of tasks 

•Ability to create and manage systems to facilitate workflow 

•Flexible hours when needed (occasional availability during off-hours) 

•Multitasking: Tackle work that ranges from high-level responsibilities to every day tasks 

•Tech Savy, able to work independently with computerized systems including Gmail Suite, Outlook, Dropbox, LastPass, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRMs, etc. 

•Keen sense of loyalty, discretion and passion for excellence
