Join us for our first dance of the new year, 8PM, Thursday, January 31, at the new dance floor of the new theater of Beit Moses.  Live music by the Hazel Hill String Band with caller Cyrelle Soffer, and introducing new caller Shelly  Zeiser from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Shelly began contra dancing in 2007 and calling in 2015. She's known for using her spunk and playfulness to make all feel welcome while still providing clear, concise directions. Shelly loves sharing joy through contra dancing, and when she's not up on stage, you'll find her twirling away on the floor.

Contra dance is traditional American (New England) folk dance.  Couples dance in opposing lines, usually in fours, progressing up and down the lines to live Appalachian, Irish, British, and other music.  It's fun and easy to learn.  It's very social.  By the end of the evening you've danced with everybody in the room.  No partner or experience needed.  All dances are taught and called by our caller.

Beit Moses is at 52 Derech Bet Lehem, in Baka, Jerusalem.  Buses 7, 72, 74, 75, to Derech Hevron/Albek and walk two blocks to Derech Bet Lehem, between Yiftach and Shimshon.  Enter from the main entrance and take the elevator to third floor to the new theater.

Entrance is NIS 40.  Please tell and invite your friends.

Looking forward to seeing you on the new dance floor,
HHSB, Cyrelle, Shelly, Howard
