We want to meet you at the audition and welcome you to our family in a surprising and wonderful show: "Of Thee I SING!" It's a Merry-Go-Round with charming ups and downs, laughter and more laughter, and a most glorious Gershwin musical score. The auditions will be September 10th, 2019.

Why, of all the Gershwin works, is "Of Thee I SING" so special? How did it become the first musical to ever win the coveted Pulitzer Prize?

Certainly the songs by George and Ira Gershwin are in another league. And the zany story was cooked up by George S. Kaufman and Morrie Ryskind. You know, the guys who wrote for the Marx Brothers.

The answer may lie in politics (yes, lots of things lie in politics). Of Thee I SIng was described as being "War and Peace written for the Three Stooges." It pokes hysterical fun at the topic that gets people way too worked up.
How about this: A presidential election about Love! And a vice-president who forgets his own name! And a president threatened with impeachment because he married a girl who bakes the best corn muffins instead of the winner of the contest HE instigated!

Yes, Of Thee I SING has a clear political message: Politics takes politics way too seriously.

We are creating a small but powerful cast of strong singers, male and female, all ages from teens up. To see a list of characters, please click here:
