| Yom Haatzmaut Traffic Arrangements in Jerusalem

Traffic and parking arrangements for Independence Day eve, Wednesday, 3/4/2018
In the center of the city, streets will be closed for the benefit of tens of thousands of celebrants
Who will enjoy a variety of events and performances in the entertainment stages.
 The following streets in the city center will be closed to traffic from 20:00 until 04:00 (approximate)
Hillel Street, HaHistadrut Street, HaMatmid Lane, Shamai, Biankini, Rabbi Akiva, Meir Shaham, Menashe Ben Yisrael - Cross Independence Park, Ben Sira, Yanai, Koresh Street, Shoshan Street, Havatzelet, Hyrcanus.
Mahaneh Yehuda Market - Agripas Street will close from the mall to Kiyach Street.
Starting at 08:00 parking is forbidden in the streets: Beit Ya'akov, the chestnuts, the sycamore and Agripas, including handicapped parking spaces and a regional area.

Parking arrangements:
On the eve of Independence Day 1.5.2017 The Safra Square parking lot is open to the general public free of charge
From 19:00 until the next day at 4:00 AM.
The Light Rail- On the eve of Yom Ha'atzmaut, the light rail will operate from 22:00 until the following morning at 03:00 in short service: the air force station to Safra and the Mount Herzl station to the Mahaneh Yehuda market. At 03:00 the train will return to full service.
The light rail will operate continuously throughout the night.

Egged - On the eve of Yom HaAtzma'ut, night lines will be operated in an enhanced format until 4:00 in the morning.

* Drivers are required to obey the orders of police officers and ushers, vehicles parked in violation of traffic laws and prohibited places - will be towed.
