| Shabbat Shuva Drashot in Jerusalem

The shabbat between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur is known as Shabbat Shuva, and there is a custom for rabbis to give extended sermons on the virtues of repentance. Here are some of the big ones we have heard about around Jerusalem. 

Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi David Lau: at Yeshivat HaKotel, after mussaf shabbat morning. 

Sefardi Chief Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef: At  Kahal Zion,91 Yafo. Mincha 6PM followed by drasha at 6:30. 

Shir Hadash (Chopin 3, Talbieh): R' Gedaliah Gurfein speaks after Mussaf, about 10:30AM, followed by kiddush. 

Sunday Night: Rabbi Shlomo Riskin's annual Drasha, Sunday 8PM at Lindenbaum, 51 Leib Yaffe. Topic: "Today the world was conceived" – Today the First Human was Created in God's Image: Halakhic and Theological Ramifications Regarding the Status of a Non-Jew, and Israel as a Nation-State of the Jewish People.
