From Jerusalem Bus Map

HEADS UP! There will be MAJOR DISRUPTIONS to the Jerusalem transportation network this upcoming Friday, March 15, due to the running of the Jerusalem Marathon. The Jerusalem Bus Map will NOT reflect the impact of these disruptions. Please see the list below for a list of planned disruptions, but keep in mind that following information is being provided as a courtesy, and that Oren's Transit Page is not liable or responsible should you not arrive at your destination on time, as planned, for any reason as a result of using the maps provided at www.jerusalembusmap.com, or any of the information posted on this page. For additional information from Egged (in Hebrew), please visit their website.

It is expected that the bus reroutes and changes outlined below will be in effect until approximately 1 PM, though the exact timing of the closures and reroutes is subject to change. Some routes may resume normal service earlier than that time. Please note that the detours outlined below are subject to change as required by marathon organizers and/or the police. Bus lines without planned detours (including but not limited to routes 4, 16, 20, 21, 23, 24, 26/26A, 27/27A, 28/28A, 29, 30, 33, 36, 37, 40, 44, 47, 52, 54, 55, 56/56A, 57, 64, 67) may also be rerouted without notice. Riders on all lines should expect major delays and allow extra time to complete their journeys. The Jerusalem Bus Map will NOT reflect any of the reroutes, changes, or suspensions of service as a result of the marathon!

Additional information and inquiries should be made directly to Egged by dialing *2800 from any phone.
