Jerusalem based company is seeking a Linux Kernel Engineer to join its team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Linux kernel drivers and components.
- Bring up new hardware and configure bootloaders.
- Debug kernel, bootloader, and hardware issues.
- Work closely with hardware and software teams.
- Contribute code and documentation internally and upstream.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet one or more of the following qualifications:
- Familiarity with at least one ARM 32 or 64 bit application processor such as STM32MPU1, i.MX6/8, TI 32 bit SoC or similar
- Familiarity with any RISC-V application processor
- Familiarity at the source code level with any of U-Boot, MCUboot or EDK2 bootloaders on some SoC
- Familiarity with the Linux kernel device driver model
- Linux board bring-up experience
Preferred qualifications:
- A degree in software engineering
- Contributions accepted into a major open-source infrastructure project
- Willingness to undergo a background check
