I had a major water leak in my basement and I called a few contractors to come and give me an estimate. Nearly all of them have estimates without really digging into the problem. I was always amazed at how confident they were without having really delving into the leak. Some would say replace the whole foundation wall or it's definitely the storm drain pipe. barak was the only one that wouldn't quote till he came back a couple of times to figure out where exactly the leak was from. It ended up being water coming from between our neighbour's and our fence and cinder block wall! He came up with a great solution and did the job quicker than he proposed. I have never had a contractor that started on time and finished earlier than expected. Barak is very intelligent, loves what he does and is very trustworthy!
Our leaking roof happened during the Covid19 situation. It was so great to find a professional and responsive company. They assessed and gave a quote within a day. Two days later entire roof work was done. All business was done through email, phone calls and text. They even checked in to see if everything was ok days after work was done. It has been a couple of weeks now and has already rained heavily... No leaks!! Finally!!! During Covid19 it was great to have “contactless” service that was reliable. I highly recommend them!

He was honest and communicative about any issues or delays they encountered and his crew were great too - friendly and so hard working (doing a roof in July and August heat is not easy!). We called David Barak in to fix roofing leaks after the rains. He came quickly, climbed up on our roof and diagnosed the problems. We accepted his quote and he and his workers came within a couple of days and worked quickly and efficiently. A broken pipe was replaced and tiles were fixed, curing the leaks. They cleaned up well afterwards.Since then everything has been fine. A big plus has been that he speaks English as well. We heartily recommend him for roofing work and fixing leaks.
