1) The Israeli Consumer Council
The Israeli Consumer Council is part of the Ministry of Commerce and
Industry and is funded by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
It handles a wide variety of inquiries and complaints.

2) The Histadrut Consumer Authority
The Histadrut Consumer Authority - has branches all over the
Country. The Authority takes care of all aspects of consumer protection
- including the sale of apartments, and price gouging and tax problems.
The Authority also provides legal advice and promotes the enactment
of consumer protection laws. It also provides assistance to consumers
in deciding which products to purchase in the areas of electrical appliances,
electronics, food, gas and automobiles.

lodged in writing and only by members of the Histadrut.
3) The Independent Consumers Organization
The Independent Consumers Organization is a small, voluntary organization
which is staffed by volunteers. The Organization provides consumers
with free legal advice (provided by volunteer lawyers) and accepts consumer
complaints twice a week. Oranization membership costs 75 shekels
a year, but the Organization provides services to all consumers –
even non-members.

4) The Organization of Religious
Consumers
The Organization of Religious Consumers -- A voluntary organization
which mainly deals with consumer issues related to food, including Kashrut
fraud, food poisoning, food components and standards. The Institute
send food samples laboratory tests in Israel and abroad and also tests
for Kashrut.
