SURVEY: What can you- yes, you- do to fix Israel's social problems?

Please participate in a new janglo social project! Just provide your feedback below.

Most people seem to agree: Sinat Hinam (baseless hatred) and our lack of unity is the Jewish people's biggest problem.

There's no lack of material discussing our social problems and complaining about them, but there is virtually no serious discussion about what each of us- you and I- can do to help fix the problem. But if we want to really do something, we can't continue pointing fingers at anyone but ourselves.

When we talk about unity, what are we even talking about? What are the things that religious/ secular/ Sefardi/ Ashkenazi/ olim/ native Israelis people do to perpetuate our fighting? Are we ourselves doing things that we aren't even aware of that cause disunity?

Lets not blame all of our problems on the government, or Arabs, or anyone else. Lets look at ourselves, the people around us, and ask what behaviors have to change. For once, take a cold hard look in the mirror and ask, "Am I part of the problem?"

Please contribute your suggestions and thoughts for a thought-provoking and open discussion. Please do NOT use this forum to complain or rant.

Janglo plans to use these comments as a base for future community projects related to this area.
