SENDING SMSs OVER THE INTERNET

**I did a bit of Internet research and found the following site which enables people in Israel to purchase "packages" of SMS messages which they can then send from their PC: https://www.sms2u.co.il/index.htm

And here is info about a free Microsoft add-in to Outlook 2003 which allows you to type your messages on your PC and then send them via your cellphone: https://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011750021033.aspx

Hope this helps. Please feel free to call or email me with your questions - I don't charge anything if I can use my 20 years of PC experience to answer the question right off. **If you go to CNet you will find various programs for sending sms's from the net; however, all of them are bundled with spyware and/or adware of one kind or another and I will not use any of them. The other alternative that I know of is to get a digital phone through Bezeq and they will give you a deal that will allow you to send free sms's from that phone for several months.

**My kids use ICQ. its free. https://ftp.icq.com/pub/ICQ_Win95_98_NT4/ICQ2003a/NT4/icqpro2003a.exe

**From the Orange site you can send to other Orange phones. Up to 20 sms's a day they are free, where after you pay less than when you send from your phone. I believe it's all written on the site -just use the orange site, it is for free! you have to register: https://www.orange.co.il/content_site/main.aspx? siteId=1&init=switchStatus(sendSms()) good luck

**I use www.SMSgarden.com It is VERY cheap and VERY reliable.

https://www.email2sms.ru/sms.php you can also send to a number as you were dialling replacing the 012 by a +

LONG DISTANCE PLANS

**call 1 800 014 014...9.90 shekels a month and you get unlimited
phone calls at one shekel per 14 minutes to the states, and
canada...every minute after that is 30 agarot...and they will add
your cell phone to that for the same 9.90]

**Go to broadvoice.com or packet8.net and decide which one is best for
you. Also download and use Skype for computer to computer talk for
free.

**If you are using Bezek, 012 and 013 will offer you a nice plan. Then
after a few months, Bezek will call and try to match it. That's the
way it goes. They give you better plans when you show then that you
are willing to leave them.

**try calling TCS 6550333

**017 from Netvision

**Global Direct (they run their office out of Ranana I think) but
it's been great. Only 28 agarot/min to USA/Canada (not including vat)
They buy bulk minutes and will charge you 10 nis per month if you
don't use up to 10 nis per month in calls

**use 018 before you dial the number.that is the
cheapest company so far for overseas calls.you do not
recieve any extra bills, you pay it through bezek.we
call the U.S. at least once a day, and we never payed
much for using 018.
