there answer is no one seems to really know - I still dont feel as though I
know the correct policy - these are the responses that I got:
1. of course same as everywhere 10% for pizza i usually give the guy 10
shekels
2. 10-29% Everyone gets tipped like in US, except taxi drivers,
hairdressers who own their own salons and hotel staff(that's why they tag on
15% service on your bill)
3. No it is not the custom here
4. NO! No tipping needed! Even cab drivers don't get tips. Unless you have
spare change to give out..........
5. we give 5 shekel.
6. Pizza and grocery deliveries, etc... 5-7 shequels is more than enough.
Taxi drivers - No tip Waiter/ess - 10% Hope this helps.
7. yes PC about 10% - 15% and give more if a nice guy-girl and weather permitting ie-if raining give more to them
8. I tip 15% but people laugh at me.
