It is not always comfortable for adolescent boys to participate in therapy, to share and to talk about their feelings and inner world.
Art Therapy, including working with tools and materials that are especially attractive to boys, can help them feel more comfortable and allow them to go through a process of growth and change.
Moreover, developing a relationship with a male therapist, together with creating and building, allows the boys to develop a masculine identity and helps them to find a balance between power and sensitivity.
For the last ten years, as an M.A. Art Therapist. I have been working in schools and in private practice with adolescent boys who are facing social and personal difficulties. Currently I am also completing my internship in psychotherapy. I am fluent in both English and Hebrew.
