Who we are:
We are a decentralized exchange protocol designed to enable leveraged positions for any asset. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Architect with a deep understanding of DeFi and expertise in Rust and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our product development lifecycle, from design through implementation, to create robust, secure, and innovative financial products and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect DeFi products and protocols, ensuring they meet high standards of usability and security.
- Lead the implementation of these designs, writing high-quality code in Rust and
TypeScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and functionalities.
- Conduct thorough documentation of design decisions, codebases, and user guides.
- Evaluate and implement security measures to safeguard protocols against
vulnerabilities.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in blockchain, DeFi, and cybersecurity to continuously innovate and improve our offerings.
Requirements:
○ Be familiar with the core value proposition of various Blockchains
○ Be plugged into the DeFi world and know the landscape of cex’s and dex’s
○ Understand how they work, what’s been successful and what hasn’t
- Strong understanding of financial principles
○ Liquidity
○ Derivatives
○ Leverage trading
○ Market Making
○ Deconstructing a high level concept into concrete formulas
○ Familiar with data visualization techniques
○ Basic calculus
○ Statistics & Probability Theory
○ Quantitative analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Architect, Blockchain Developer, or similar role in the DeFi space.
- Knowledge of Rust and TypeScript programming languages.
- Strong foundation in blockchain technology, smart contracts, and cryptographic
protocols.
- Experience in product design, including defining requirements, architectural design, and user experience.
- Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive documentation.
- Solid understanding of security principles and how they apply to DeFi protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work
collaboratively in a team setting.
