An up-and-coming children’s entertainment enterprise is seeking a freelance graphic designer and illustrator to bring to life a new world of charming characters and heartfelt stories. Inspired by Pixar-style visuals and rooted in traditional family values, our IP spans storybooks, animation pitch decks, and brand materials for a mainstream American audience.
What You’ll Do:
- Design expressive characters and rich storybook scenes that capture emotion, humor, and warmth
- Create concept art, layouts, and mood boards for animation and publishing pitches
- Contribute to the visual development of a cross-platform brand, including books, merchandise mockups, and promotional material
- Collaborate with the creative team to build a consistent, cinematic visual language
What We’re Looking For:
- A portfolio showcasing Pixar-style, 2D or stylized 3D illustration with strong storytelling and character design
- Experience with standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Procreate, Blender, etc.)
- A background in children's media, publishing, or animation is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Must not use AI-generated artwork in the creation process
- Reliable, creative, and open to long-term collaboration
Work Format:
- Freelance / remote
- Work will be delivered in batches (e.g., full storybook spreads, character sheets, pitch deck visuals)
- Potential for an ongoing relationship as the brand expands across books, animation, and digital media
