My name is Gitty Aschkenasy and I am here to help you on the wonderful journey to independent learning.
I have a BEd in Jewish History and Tanach from Michlelet Bayit Vagan and have taught in different Seminaries and Schools for the last ten years. My approach to teaching is very text based since I strongly believe that the most important thing in learning, is to understand the sources by yourself. I have taught many students how to read and understand Lashon Hakodesh as well as many other subjects. Being born and raised in Israel by South African parents gives me the benefit of being fluent in Hebrew as well as in English on a mother-tongue level.
