In this role, you will perform amended filing functions as assigned. Meets both quality and production standards established for this level. Respond to Agency, Payroll Center and Client inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Monitor established turnaround guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- File/amend tax returns timely in accordance with Agency, Region and Client
requirements.
- Research client, agency and payroll center inquiries and respond in a timely, accurate
and professional manner.
- Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist in training of new employees and procedures.
- Develops and updates current filing/research records and procedure.
- Telephone contact with internal and external areas.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Thorough knowledge of research and filing procedures and resources.
- Thorough knowledge of the automated tax system.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Meets deadlines with accuracy.
- Organizational skills are a must.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A college degree is great but not required. What’s more important is having the skills to
do the job.
Other acceptable experiences could include:
- High School diploma required
- At least 4 quarter ends of multi-jurisdiction filing experience.

Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and
follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and
achieve success.
