Bring the Gym to Me (www.bringthegymtome.com) is looking to hire an administrative assistant.

This is a work from home job, however the hours are set.

For the month of July*, the administrative assistant will be required to work:

Sunday through Thurs:7:30am-11:30am and 7-9pm EST and
Fridays: 7:30am-1pm + 1 hour later in the afternoon.

(There might be some flexibility with these hours - can be discussed in job interview).

*If all goes well through the month of July, we’ll discuss a longer term schedule towards the end of the month.

As administrative assistant, your duties will include:

  • Monitoring and replying to texts and phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Corresponding with instructors and clients about scheduling, customer service and other issues.
  • Managing and updating the Bring the Gym to Me calendar of classes. This will involve being in touch with both clients and instructors and keeping track of replies and handling follow ups and modifying the calendar accordingly.
  • Phone calls to clients and instructors about a variety of issues
  • Sending confirmation emails to instructors
  • Sending weekly reminder texts to clients and instructors about classes
  • New client and instructor intake and uploading profiles and other information into our database
  • Weekly spreadsheet preparations
  • Other misc. tasks


Appropriate candidate must possess the following skills:

  • Fast typing speed (min 60 wpm).
  • Be very personable/ have excellent communication skills.
  • High reading comprehension skills.
  • Be a fast learner.
  • Have the ability to keep track of multiple things that are happening at the same time without losing focus/letting details slip through the cracks.
  • Be detail oriented.
  • High organizational skills and strong ability to prioritize.
  • Previous experience and good familiarity with email, texting, google drive (specifically docs and spreadsheets)
  • Be good at handling feedback, open to learning from mistakes, enjoy challenges - this is very much a learn on the job type of position.


Starting pay for this position is $14USD/hour
