HYK Ventures, https://hykventures.com/ ,an outsource CFO and Accounting firm, is looking for a full-time Tax Manager.

The tax manager role will require advanced technical skill in a variety of tax and accounting areas, along with developed management and supervisory skills. Familiarity with corporations, partnerships, trusts, and HNW individuals. The right person for this position will be someone that wants to advance their career, skillset and experience and has the management background to assist in making decisions on a variety of standard and unusual tax situations.

HYK Ventures helps business owners understand their financials through bookkeeping and accounting. We utilize Lacerte, Airtable, Quickbooks Online, Quickbooks Desktop, Office 365, Onedrive and a few other software’s to try to keep it all together.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Master's degree a plus
• CPA License required
• 5-8 years of recent
• Experience with a wide variety of entity types and multi-state compliance
• Previous experience supervising and training staff and seniors preferred
• Strong project management and leadership skills including the ability to successfully coach and mentor talented people.
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify and propose resolutions to complex income tax issues
• Experience working in Intuit Suite software a plus ( Lacerte, Smart Vault, Practice Management, QuickBooks)
