Front Desk Attendant (Receptionist)


Responsibilities:

  • greeting and directing guests
  • answering emails and phone calls
  • dealing with bookings
  • completing procedures when guests arrive and leave
  • choosing rooms and handing out keys
  • preparing bills and taking payments
  • taking and passing on messages to guests
  • dealing with special requests from guests (like reserving parking or booking a tour)
  • answering questions
  • dealing with complaints or problems

Requirements:

  • customer service skills
  • fluent English & Hebrew; other languages a plus
  • sensitivity and understanding
  • to be thorough and pay attention to detail
  • patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • the ability to work well with others
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • the ability to understand people’s reactions
  • to be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device

Position is part-time (possibility to switch to full time after 2 months), work in shifts, flexible schedule, in the center of Jerusalem.
