A fast growing Jerusalem area media company is seeking a full-time online news editor and content writer who loves Israel and is passionate about producing high quality writing.
Responsibilities:
Taking full responsibility for all content on the news site, managing and editing writers, graphic designers and tech
Collaborating with colleagues in other divisions of the company to ensure the news site furthers the company’s broader goals
Developing and executing strategies to grow the site’s traffic and measure success
Writing feature, news and native ad stories for the news site
Skills/Past Experience
Self-motivated with results driven approach
Strong writing and editing skills and attention to detail
A strong grasp of politics and Israel related news
Technical skills to manage a website and manage social media platforms
Strong time management skills and the ability to manage several projects at a time
