HR Director: Israel-Based Remote Team

A dynamic U.S.-based medical revenue company is seeking a full-time HR Director to lead and manage our HR department for a remote team based in Israel. This key leadership role will work closely with company leadership to support a professional, structured, and positive work environment while helping the company continue to grow.

Position Highlights:

Full-time, remote position with occasional in-person responsibilities in Jerusalem
Minimum 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours required
• Lead HR strategy and day-to-day HR operations for a growing Israel-based team
• Work closely with U.S. leadership and Israel-based managers
• Join a fast-growing company with a strong U.S. presence

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and employee development
• Build and improve HR processes, policies, and systems to support a growing remote workforce
• Partner with leadership and managers on staffing needs, team structure, employee concerns, and performance issues
• Support managers in giving feedback, handling sensitive employee situations, and developing stronger leadership practices
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company goals and company culture
• Oversee employee engagement, retention, and professional growth initiatives
• Help create clear expectations, accountability structures, and communication processes across teams
• Manage and improve onboarding and training processes for new hires
• Assist with compensation discussions, role clarity, promotions, and internal growth paths
• Coordinate team-building activities and occasional in-person meetings or events
• Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and leadership

Requirements:

• Significant HR, management, or people-leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or a related field
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to work effectively with managers and employees at all levels
• Ability to work independently and lead HR functions in a remote environment
• Comfortable working with a U.S.-based leadership team and Israel-based employees
Native-level English fluency
Must reside in Israel
• Proficient with remote work technologies and HR-related tools
• Available for occasional in-person meetings or events in Jerusalem

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
• HR certification or relevant professional training
• Experience managing HR for remote, cross-cultural, or international teams
• Experience in a fast-growing company or healthcare-related business environment
