Donor Relations Specialist – Pantry Packers
Position Summary
Colel Chabad is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Donor Relations Specialist to be based out of Pantry Packers in Jerusalem. This is a proactive, relationship-focused role for someone who thrives on meeting new people, building trust quickly, and turning meaningful encounters into long-term donor relationships.
Pantry Packers welcomes a steady stream of visitors from around the world, many of whom have the capacity to become significant supporters of Colel Chabad's work. The Donor Relations Specialist will engage these visitors in person on the floor, then follow up by phone, email, and text to cultivate lasting relationships and meaningful giving.
Schedule & Location
This role requires residence in Jerusalem or a close suburb. The weekly schedule
includes:
● Two days per week on the Pantry Packers floor engaging directly with visitors
● Remaining days focused on donor follow-up via phone, email, and text
● Evening hours three times per week to align with US donor time zones, when most follow-up calls take place
Qualifications
● Native English speaker; fluent in Hebrew.
● 2+ years of experience required in fundraising, sales, business development, or donor relations, with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
● Proven ability to open and develop new relationships, not only manage existing ones.
● Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills across diverse settings.
● Proficiency in Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
● Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
● Resident of Jerusalem or a close suburb.

Key Responsibilities
● Actively engage visitors on the floor, building rapport and identifying giving opportunities.
● Cultivate a portfolio of donors through individualized follow-up by phone, email, and text to deepen commitment and increase giving.
● Develop creative strategies to close gifts and advance donors through the pipeline.
● Accurately log all interactions in Salesforce and implement the organization's moves management process.
