The role entails:

Partnering with other members of the executive team to evolve the product

Developing and executing on the GTM strategy

Building, managing and coaching a high-performing marketing team

Directing and supporting market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports

Working closely with the sales department to align sales and marketing strategies

Managing the marketing budget and expenditures

Maintaining brand standards and ensuring compliance across all marketing and communications channels

Identifying competitors and evaluating their strategies and positioning and devising counter-strategies

Ideally you have:

Previous experience in digital marketing, SEO, brand, social, content development, public relations, and UX design

Experience in Marketing, ad-tech, mar-tech, email marketing

Experience in SMB markets including selling to buyers in retail, hospitality & restaurant, financial services, real estate, marketing & advertising and other key segments.

Hands-on experience across a range of marketing technologies including email, marketing automation, analytics, text message, etc.

Strong analytics capabilities and the ability to optimize systems using data

Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills

In-depth knowledge of market research

Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success

A track record of strategic marketing leadership success at a B2C tech company or startup in the SaaS space.
