Email Marketing Manager
Large kosher food and recipe website is seeking a hard working, fast-moving, internet-obsessed email marketing manager to join our team! Our ideal candidate has excellent email experience, a consumer marketing background, copywriting skills, analytical acumen, and is passionate about food. If you're fascinated by the idea that there's both an art and a science to communicating with a loyal audience of readers day after day, and you're eager to work for an innovative team within a thriving, growing online media company, we want to hear from you! This role will report to the Director of Digital Media and is a work from home/Independent contractor position (approximately 10 hours/week).
EVERYTHING Email
Email Marketing and Management, including but not limited to:

• calendar creation and management (editorial + tracking and executing client deliverables)
• email creation and execution A to Z (weekly, daily, bonus email, client emails etc...)
• institute best practices strategy, growth, open rates, ctrs, site traffic etc... A/B testing, list segmentation, etc...
• pop up for lead gen and other promotions management

Analytics / Reporting

• Draft a weekly 1-page report with Email Analytics including site traffic

In order to thrive in this role, you must have...

• 2-3 years' experience in email marketing, editorial, media publishing, or communications
• Email marketing experience required
• Excellent copywriting skills, with an editorial or campaign portfolio to prove it
• Working knowledge of Photo editing software highly preferred
• Fluency with email performance metrics and the concepts of A/B testing and subject-line testing
• Excellent time-management skills; must be flexible and able to adapt and react to business needs or change in direction in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with retail marketing, retail business, subscription businesses a bonus

We are looking for up to 10 hours/week. Pay is approximately $1400 USD per month depending on experience.
