Overview

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving the sales process with prospective customers as well as the expansion of existing accounts. You will work closely with our customers to understand their business objectives and be their trusted guide for using the product most effectively. You’ll also work with cross-functional teams to help align our product roadmap and marketing materials with customer feedback.

This role will be Contracted to start, with the expectation of receiving a full-time offer after 1-2 weeks of hitting quota. Expect to take up to 50-60 sales calls a week (15-20 minutes each) once you are fully ramped up. Our best salespeople have historically been individuals with strong industry knowledge and experience, but that is not a must. What is a must is the desire to work hard and learn from your peers, which will be crucial to achieving a 15-20%+ close rate once you are fully ramped.

What You Do Each Day

  • Educate customers on the value of product offerings in a consultative way
  • Communicate and organize/escalate issues appropriately including: billing, legal, security, and technical inquiries
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive outreach to new and existing customers
  • Get into the territory and conduct onsite meetings with key customers
  • Provide recommendations based on a customer’s business needs and usage patterns
  • Build relationships with senior executives and decision-makers across all departments within a company
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas of the product
  • Collaborate with internal teammates to ensure customer success with special emphasis on signup, upgrade, and renewal

Qualifications

  • Experience selling complex products to customers
  • You are articulate and poised with a clear and concise spoken and written communication style
  • You take an active interest in opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships
  • You have a consistent track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions
  • You are flexible, adaptive, and resilient

Pre Interview Questions

  • Are you alright with starting out on a contract after hitting quota and moving to full time,(usually takes 1-2 weeks)
