This exciting position is for an experienced Business Process Improvement (BPI) SQL Server ETL Developer, looking to garner great experience working in a fast-paced financial services firm. The position provides the opportunity to work with members of our team across the world, providing experience in both business communication, as well as software development. With exposure to a dynamic and changing environment, this unique position will ultimately need to be filled by a candidate that is eager to learn, able to adapt, and highly self-motivated.

The SQL Server ETL Developer will work within the Business Process Improvement team to help establish automated solutions for the company’s internal processes. You will be working closely with business analysts and desktop developers to create high performing SQL Server ETL solutions.

Primary Responsibilities (not limited to):

  Work with business analysts and desktop developers to analyze the data needs of a project and produce an effective database system to meet those needs.

•Setup databases and develop ETLs in order to automate internal processes.

•Analyze existing databases and recommend and implement appropriate optimizations.

•Create documentation about the database systems, operational manual, and supporting documentation, including changes and improvements that are implemented.

•Timely development estimation and delivery of assigned development requests.

•Responsible for providing periodic status on the progress of development.


Must be eligible to work in Israel 

•English – Fluent

•Must have 2+ years’ experience working with ETL tools (preferably SQL Server Data Tools)

•Must have strong databases knowledge and understanding, including development, maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.

•Must possess strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.

•Must be able to work within a team and also independently.

•Must have experience in Agile/Scrum methodology

•Advanced SQL skills is a plus

•A degree in Computer Science is a plus

•Experience in teaching and mentoring is a plus

Location:  Har Hotzvim,Jerusalem (possibility of working from home even after government restrictions are lifted)

Hours:  Full time, 42.5 Hours a Week, Daytime Hours (Global Coverage – Some Flexibility Is Required)
