A U.S.-based CPA and Business Management Firm is seeking a Senior-Level Tax Accountant with solid experience in U.S. tax (not expat). The ideal candidate has reviewed work in an accounting firm and is skilled in tax compliance, financial reporting, and client management.
Description:
- Manage a portfolio of U.S.-based clients
- Prepare tax returns, extensions and quarterly estimates tax payments for corporations, S corporations, partnerships, high net worth individual and fiduciaries
- Prepare quarterly and monthly payroll and sales tax returns
- Prepare financial statements for individuals and entities
- Resolve correspondences from the IRS and various state and local governments
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in US corporate tax is required, along with proficiency in tax preparation for various entity types, including partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, and fiduciaries.
- Prior review experience in an accounting firm
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Remote, 30-40 weekly hours, with at least half of the working hours overlapping U.S. business hours.
