Every year, thousands of people flock to Gush Etzion to join the Yemei Iyun B'Tanakh. Hosted by Herzog College in Alon Shvut, this amazing annual festival of Tanakh study offers a packed schedule of lectures in English & Hebrew, plus a book sale & craft fair. Leading Tanakh lecturers from Israel and overseas gather to teach and share ideas over four days: Sunday 27–Wednesday 30 July, plus a day of Tanakh Tiyulim on Thursday, July 31.
There is also an option to participate virtually plus get all the recordings to wtch online.
The English Tanakh Tiyul with Shulie Mishkin will explore Judah's borders in First Temple times, visiting Tel Azeka, Tel Lachish including the new visitors' center, Negba and the Monument to the Hebrew Woman Warrior in Nitzan.
This year, there is also a special conference for Jewish educators (in English) on Monday July 28, addressing the issue of maintaining teacher standing and creating a culture of respect for Jewish educators in our schools and communities.
