Lev v'Nefesh is a 2 month high school program in Israel for the Leffell School from Westchester, NY.
The school sends its entire senior grade of around 65 students. The grade is mixed male and female.
We are looking for great counselors who can work for the entire period as a full-time job
Madrichim travel together with the group around the entire country with a base in Jerusalem. The trip opens with a week-long Poland experience.
Start date is January 31 2027
End date is April 1 2027
Job requirements:
- Being with the group for the entire period, including nights
- High levels of Hebrew and English
- Familiarity with USA Jewry and the Conservative movement
- Experience in informal education and Hadracha. Summer Camp experience in an advantage
- Willingness to work around the clock
- Preparedness to work in a Jewish egalitarian environment. The program is Shomer Shabbat, Kosher and the group prays each morning.
- The job is not appropriate for students
- Ideal aged candidates are post-Army or National Service
