Digital Content Manager

The Rapaport Group is an international network of companies providing added value services that support the development of ethical, transparent, competitive, and efficient diamond and jewelry markets. Information Services, a division of the Rapaport Group, is a leading provider of information to the global diamond and jewelry industry. We are looking for a Digital Content Manager to join our team.

Reporting directly to the Editor in Chief, the Digital Content Manager will be responsible for optimizing reader engagement online across all of our digital channels and driving traffic growth, while acting as the bridge between the editorial team and other departments to help execute the overall strategy.

This is a full-time, hybrid position, located in Israel.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the news, operations, marketing, and sales teams to set the overall digital content strategy
  • Maximizing the impact and reach of all content generated by the Rapaport’s team
  • Strategy creation and execution of data-driven growth tactics to increase readership and social engagement on a set schedule of content
  • Managing the technical and artistic framework for content of Rapaport digital properties
  • Analyzing and optimizing articles, feeding back to the editorial team to optimize existing content and future output
  • Tracking of all key performance metrics; building weekly and monthly reports in addition to ad hoc investigations
  • Acting as the team’s eyes and ears on social media, SEO and all analytics platforms, handling alerting the team to breaking events, trending topics and feeding into the editorial workflow to maximize traffic
  • Researching competitors and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Staying abreast of the industry, technology and market trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Mother-tongue level English / mastery of English grammar and spelling
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a content manager covering digital/online components
  • Proficiency in WordPress
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and perform well under high-pressure, deadline-driven situations
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven experience implementing SEO, experience with Yoast and other SEO tools
  • Proven experience using and acting on data collected from key analytics tools: Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Facebook Insights, YouTube Analytics and others
  • Aesthetic sense and ability to produce and adapt creative content
  • Swiftly identify, troubleshoot, and solve bugs/technical issues that arise
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
