Director of Sales - CityBook Services, Full Time - US Hours
The Director of Sales is a hands‑on leader responsible for building and scaling a high‑performing sales organization during a period of significant company growth. This role is central to the company’s next phase—bringing structure, systems, accountability, and talent to a sales function that is evolving from early success into a predictable, scalable engine.
This is a builder’s role for a leader who wants to grow with the company, shape how sales are done, and develop a team that can scale with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Organization & Performance
- Evaluate current sales performance and establish clear baselines for pipeline health, activity levels, and conversion.
- Introduce rigorous sales processes, metrics, and accountability standards.
- Ensure consistent execution that drives predictable revenue growth.
Hiring, Coaching & Team Development
- Own sales hiring end-to-end: sourcing, interviews, hiring decisions, onboarding, ramp, and ongoing performance management.
- Build and manage a growing team of sales representatives over the next 18–36 months.
- Design structured onboarding and continuous training programs tied directly to performance metrics.
- Coach consistently using real activity data, deal reviews, and call feedback.
Systems & Infrastructure
- Select, implement, and enforce a CRM and sales reporting system.
- Define pipeline stages, exit criteria, and required activity tracking.
- Develop repeatable sales playbooks, scripts, and engagement cadences.
Cross‑Functional Growth Leadership
- Partner with marketing, operations, and leadership to improve pipeline quality, sales readiness, and go‑to‑market execution.
- Support the launch of new offerings and evolving sales motions as the company grows.

Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years in sales; 3+ years leading teams
- Proven experience improving sales performance with data
- CRM implementation or overhaul experience
- Experience hiring, onboarding, and scaling sales reps
Preferred
- B2B services or consultative sales background
- Experience scaling an early‑stage or lightly structured team
- Comfort in fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environments
