Looking for a highly experienced social media manager to create engaging content for several English-language pro-Israel news sites.
Must be a "news junky" who is a passionate advocate for Israel and has a deep understanding of political, religious, social and economic issues that affect Israel and Jews around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging, shareable content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
- Craft and execute social media strategies to expand reach and engagement with all audiences including Gen-Z.
- Foster and maintain a strong online community by responding to comments, messages, and facilitating discussions.
- Stay ahead of social media trends and implement innovative ideas to keep content fresh and exciting.- Provide weekly analytics reports to quantify reach, growth and engagement
Qualifications:- Enthusiasm and passion for Israel with experience in hasbara - advocating for Israel online and offline- "News Junky" with deep understanding of national and international issues that affect Israel and the Jewish people.- Social media "super savvy" with proven success in managing multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok- Ability to think outside the box and create visually appealing organic content that can go viral.- Well-connected and networked within the pro-Israel online community, especially among younger audiences- Strong focus on analytics and growth; comfortable adapting to new trends, technologies and algorithms.
