Pantry Packers maintains a packing plant in Jerusalem where visitors and tourists partner in its efforts by helping to pack food staples which are then included in crates to needy Israeli households. Pantry Packers is the food distribution arm of Colel Chabad, the oldest continuously operating network of social services in Israel, established in 1788.

ROLE:

We are searching for an enthusiastic, professional, and experienced Telefundraiser to cultivate relationships with existing donors of the organization, with the intent of growing the level of support from donors. You will work closely with other team members of Pantry Packers to communicate with visitors and donors by following up, keeping in touch with visitors, etc. Calls will include following up with past donors and visitors, informing them of our progress, and updating them on the recent work of Pantry Packers and Colel Chabad.

POSITION & LOCATION:

Full time. 8 hours/ day. Hybrid each day- work from home & in the Talpiot office. Starting October.

Calling to the US and other countries from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Option to continue working in the office or from home.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Call and share updates, testimonials, and achievements with donors and visitors
• Make hard and soft pitches during fundraising campaigns, holidays, etc.
• Track touchpoints in database
• Follow up with appropriate communication
• Ability to work on own initiative, and see opportunities for engagement

REQUIREMENTS:

• Salesforce or similar database experience (a major plus) to be able to create reports
• Previous phone sales/fundraising experience a MUST
• Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, active listening, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to ask questions confidently and be persistent
• Strong time management, adaptability, and accountability
• Fluency in multiple languages; English mother tongue; fluent Hebrew; Spanish a plus
