Manage the company’s IT systems, software and hardware (non-production environments).
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to IT.
Manage and report on allocation of IT budget.
Develop, implement and monitor compliance with IT and information security policies, including risk management program and installation of applications and information security measures.
Oversee information access controls and maintain personnel authorization controls and clearance records.
Conduct regular systems audits and checks on network and data security.
Design and deliver IT and security awareness training programs and workshops for staff.
Maintain current knowledge of security laws, regulations and standards in order to ensure company compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience working in a combination of IT operations and information security.
Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and preferably, knowledge about health and education-related regulatory compliance in the United States.
Experience leading and managing IT projects.
Strong critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
