Loan Underwriting Analyst (Entry-Level)
Location: Tel Aviv (Office-Based)
Hours: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM, 4 days per week
Overview
A growing lending company is looking for two highly detail-oriented team members to join their underwriting team. The role involves reviewing loan applications submitted by brokers, carefully examining financial documents, and extracting key information to support underwriting decisions.
No prior underwriting experience is required. The most important quality for this role is exceptional attention to detail and the ability to carefully review financial documents without missing important information.
Key Responsibilities
- Review loan application files submitted by brokers
- Examine supporting documents such as bank statements and financial records
- Extract key financial information and enter it accurately into spreadsheets and internal systems
- Ensure all required documents are included in each application
- Identify missing information or inconsistencies in files
- Apply company criteria to determine when applications should be declined or moved forward
- Organize and prepare files for underwriting review
Requirements
- Extremely strong attention to detail (critical for this role)
- Comfortable reviewing financial documents and numbers
- Strong organizational skills
- Good Excel / spreadsheet skills
- Ability to follow structured processes and guidelines
- Reliable and able to work independently
