The Finance team of a real estate investment company is expanding, and we are seeking for an Assistant Controller to join our world-class team. Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and monitor against budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct in-depth budget versus actual analysis, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Analyze fund sources and uses to support liquidity management and strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain performance analysis reports to measure financial performance against key metrics and benchmarks.
  • Prepare clear and concise presentations that communicate complex financial information to a variety of audiences, including senior management and investors.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and quarterly re-forecasting.
  • Collaborate with other members of the finance team to consolidate financial information and provide insightful analysis.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a real estate or fund management setting.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial reporting and data visualization tools.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing and delivering presentations.
  • Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently.
  • Proactive and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
