Property Compliance Manager
Remote | UK Property | Full-Time
An established UK property management company is looking for an experienced Property Compliance Manager to take full ownership of licensing and compliance across a large residential portfolio, including HMOs.
This is a role for someone who knows UK property compliance inside out, can take charge independently and has the confidence and authority to keep property managers accountable. We are looking for someone who will drive the process forward, not simply monitor it.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee licensing and compliance requirements across a large residential property portfolio.
- Monitor safety certificates, renewals, expiry dates and outstanding requirements.
- Manage HMO and selective licensing applications, including council-specific requirements.
- Proactively identify compliance gaps and drive outstanding matters through to resolution.
- Take charge of compliance follow-up across the portfolio, ensuring property managers meet their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in UK residential property compliance and licensing.
- Strong practical understanding of HMO licensing, selective licensing and property safety certificates.
- Experience handling licensing applications and working with local authority requirements.
- A confident, assertive and highly proactive individual who can take control, follow through persistently and hold others accountable.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with ProPak property management software is a strong advantage.
Working Arrangements
Remote | Initially full-time, with potential flexibility for the right candidate.
Previous UK property compliance experience is essential.
