A pharmaceutical company in Jerusalem is looking for a Validation Manager to lead the validation function at its manufacturing site and manage the validation team.

The role:
• Professional and personal management of the validation team
• Building the annual validation plan and tracking its execution
• Writing, reviewing and approving validation protocols and reports
• Investigating deviations and nonconformances, defining CAPA and following up on implementation
• Supporting Change Control processes
• Working with external validation vendors and contractors
• Supporting internal and external audits and representing validation before regulatory authorities
• Day-to-day work with Production, Labs, QA, Warehouse, Production Planning, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering and Maintenance
• Leading improvement and efficiency initiatives in validation
• Meeting timelines in engineering projects and new equipment introduction
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Chemistry - required
• About 5 years of validation experience in pharma, food, medical devices, cannabis or a related industry - required
• Management experience - a significant advantage
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Experience writing validation documents and analyzing results
• Broad validation experience: equipment, computerized systems, cleaning, utilities and sterilization
• Experience in a multi-interface environment and in project management
• High-level English, including professional reading and writing
• Proficiency in MS Office
