Collections Specialist - Temporary Maternity Leave Coverage. With potential for long-term continuation

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our in-office team in Har Hotzvim. This role focuses on managing past-due customer payments, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring accurate account tracking within the client’s system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer balances with overdue payments.
  • Prepare and send formal collection notices and reminder communications in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate with supervisors to verify whether payments have been received or if follow-up is still required
  • Use the client’s custom CRM system to manage account statuses, log activity, and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Track open items and escalate accounts as needed, according to established procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience by maintaining a respectful, solution-focused tone in all communications.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail
  • Clear and professional communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and following structured processes
  • Ability to stay focused and consistent in repetitive tasks and follow-up
  • Previous experience in collections, billing, or accounts receivable – an advantage
  • High level of reliability and ability to work independently after training
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Job Requirements:

  • Location: In-office, Har Hotzvim
  • Hours: Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (8-hour shift)
  • Some flexibility for earlier Israeli working hours may be available for the right candidate.
  • $14/hour paid on Israeli books
