TITLE: Warehouse & Visitor Experience Manager

LOCATION: Talpiot (Jerusalem)

POSITION:

Full time (12:00 PM - 8:00 PM), Sunday - Thursday.

Occasionally available to lead groups outside of regular hours

Starting immediately.

PANTRY PACKERS:

Pantry Packers maintains a packing plant in Jerusalem where visitors and tourists partner in its efforts by helping to pack food staples which are included in crates to needy Israeli households. Pantry Packers is the food distribution arm of Colel Chabad, the oldest continuously operating network of social services in Israel, established in 1788.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide pleasant hands-on experience for visitors by managing, engaging & instructing the packing process to multiple groups throughout the day, presenting information about the organization during the packing activity and in the media room towards the end of their visit
• Maintain warehouse efficiency, appearance, functionality, and sanitation
• Lead smooth production of the warehouse; oversee stock/ inventory & waste reduction
• Supervise visitors and ensure safe use of equipment; answer questions that arise

• Sign off on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Plan ahead and set up for the next days’ groups
• A portion of each day will be designated for following up, engaging, and creating relationships with visiting groups you led via phone calls and emails to encourage further involvement and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Mother tongue English (necessary), good level of spoken Hebrew (preferred)

- Able to lift and move crates of about 25 kilos

- Solid customer service & communication skills

- Confident, energetic, takes initiative

- Comfortable speaking on the phone and encouraging further support to the organization

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Basic photography and computer skills

SALARY:

Compensation is 55+ NIS/ hour, commensurate with experience.
