An educational institution is looking for an enthusiastic Student Engagement Coordinator, who is passionate about making online learning a more personable experience for students.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Reaching out to students and setting up meetings.
  • Presenting the Woodmont College brand, explaining how courses work, and outlining available resources including the different departments of the college.
  • Developing and implementing engagement strategies to ensure students regularly connect with other students and participate in online events.
  • Following up with students to maintain relationships throughout the degree, serve as the point person for any issues, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with the career services department to facilitate student participation in services and initiatives.
  • Working together with other departments (registrar, academics, student services, alumni relations) as needed.

Requirements:

  • Stellar oral and written communication skills to confidently build the college brand and lead students through their college experience.
  • Persuasive skills to motivate students to become active within the online college community, participate in online events, and benefit from all services.
  • Organizational skills to keep accurate records and updates on the student pipeline.
  • Collaborative skills are the glue that connects students to student services, the registrar, and career services.
  • Love building relationships and influencing others; you love the challenge of getting people into conversations and building a virtual relationship where you can impact them.
  • A self-starter, don’t wait to be told what to do instead you love jumping in, seeing what can be done better, and consistently innovating and improving.
  • Top class and professionalism are tangibly felt in everything you say, write, and present yourself.

Preferred Experience:

  • BA Degree.
  • Experience working as an executive assistant.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ability to learn new software and technology.

Hours: 20 hours a week

Location: Approximately one-third onsite (RBS D) and two-thirds during US hours (from home or the office).

The position is available to begin immediately.
