We are looking for booking agents to work for a travel agency in Lakewood.
Core Responsibilities ● Executes bookings, ticketing and mileage redemptions accurately, from initial request through confirmation ● Reviews sales agent requests for completeness before beginning work, and flags missing information rather than guessing ● Maintains complete, accurate records of passenger and reservation details, including frequent flyer numbers, in the system of record ● Communicates status, delays and issues promptly to the requesting sales agent and, where appropriate, directly to the client ● Escalates issues appropriately, with clear judgment on what requires a manager's input and what can be resolved independently ● Contributes to shared team documentation so booking knowledge does not live with any one person alone ● Supports coverage across the hours the business needs, including non-standard hours as scheduled Qualifications ● Demonstrated fare and points knowledge, or a fast learner with strong attention to detail and willingness to build it ● Comfortable working independently once trained, with clear judgment on when to ask for help ● Strong written communication, since client-facing correspondence must be clear, warm and professionally worded ● Reliable availability within assigned hours What Success Looks Like, Year One ● Consistently accurate bookings with minimal rework ● Full and correct data entry on every reservation ● Responsive, professional communication with both sales agents, clients, mileage and billing teams ● Demonstrated growth on the competency ladder in the IDP process, with a documented path toward increased ownership ● Formal review tied to the individual's hire date anniversary, with 90-day check-ins on active goals throughout the year We are an equal opportunity employer committed to a fair and inclusive hiring process.
