Location: Beitar Illit, Israel (Full-Time, Hybrid)

Growing technology company in Beitar Illit, is looking for a highly experienced QA Engineer to join our software team. This role is ideal for someone who can lead the testing strategy end-to-end from implementing QA methodologies and processes, to performing deep integration testing, to building and maintaining a robust automation framework. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality, shaping best practices, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers to deliver reliable, high-quality systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve QA methodologies and processes.
  • Analyze requirements and specifications, and translate them into clear test strategies and scenarios.
  • Write and maintain test documentation: test plans, test cases, and reports.
  • Plan and execute all types of tests: sanity, functional, regression, integration (major focus), and end-to-end (E2E).
  • Perform manual testing of new features and existing functionality.
  • Design, build, and maintain an automation framework from the ground up.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for regression and functional coverage.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers throughout the development lifecycle to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Advocate for quality across the team and help establish QA best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on QA experience, with strong background in both manual and automated testing.
  • Proven experience in building automation frameworks (not only writing automated tests).
  • Strong focus and proven track record in integration testing and complex system validation.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, including writing and debugging complex queries with joins.
  • Experience with modern automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
  • Ability to translate requirements into comprehensive test cases and strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Hands-on experience with bug-tracking and project management tools such as Jira (or similar).
  • Advantage: experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Fluent English – must.
